I use procreate & my main brushes are Hard Blend and a duplicate of it with less fade at the end, nikko rull and procreate pencil, for traditional art I prefer mechanical pencils but heavily sharpened wooden pencils work just fine too

3/20-23/25 - This is Lynux and the priest dude. They both enjoy the back-and-forth of deceit. AlSO I ACCIDENTALLY PAINT BUCKETED THE ENTIRE CANVAS WHILE CLOSING OUT OF IT SO I HAD TO TAKE MY EARLIER SCREENSHOT AND EDIT IT 💀 Additionally I find that any song from the 1999 Slipknot album is fitting for this cause I was listening to it while drawing :D

3/8/25 - I needed to draw whimsy ... pokkan color by kikuo specifically the instrumental/off vocal version was the thing that made me draw this :-) it was originally just a doodle to try out an ibispaint brush but i got the song stuck in my head and the urge to draw a cute little sparkly carnival with lynux was so real ... please ignore the deformed horses and coyote thing its meant to be background noise PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PL

3/5/25 - The guy they're playing with is the priest guy from ideas page :))) The priest guy is more of a "prophet" person speaking directly to the people and lynux is their complete opposite, controlling things indirectly

2/23/25 - Some kinda fancy outfit for them. Along with this, I imagine he would be the type of person to use perfume over anything else. It was also fun to draw them flipping someone off LOL . Here you can also see his hair and ears get longer every time I draw him, it's ridiculous 😭

1/26/25 - The cover image for Lynux's character profile. The major arcana is their true feelings/actions and the flowers are the expectations placed upon them. If someone holds the flower high, they embrace the expectations placed onto them.

10/24/25 - I used this image/meme for color picking before making a ref sheet! This was originally a meme of Dazai from Bungo Stray Dogs and I looked at it and said "what if it was lynux..."
10/8/24 - Birthday art!!! I was actually bored one day and I thought it would be interesting to give them a birthday. They don't really have a DOB necessarily much less Ictifs don't use the gregorian calander ;^^ but it's fun!

7/14/24 - This was one of the first drawings I did of Lynux and also the first drawings that were basically the same as their current design. This is an outdated Ictan alphabet, but it basically says, "They are all that is holy, in disaster they rose." Fun fact! this would be a rug.

7/12/24 - I started making the world of Icta from the a song I heard, and this first version of Lynux was my initial thoughts while drawing whatever came to mind (as I usually do with making characters) In this early version, I was thinking they could be a savior of the species on a different planet sent down to do just that, and I think I was thinking that they could become more inclined towards power as the years go on
7/29/24 - This is when I really started thinking about their relationship with other characters. There's another part to this piece that shows up in Locus's gallery that's their first design. My early thoughts regarding their relationship was that Locus (unnamed then) would've been an outsider meeting them or something of that sort -- this is after the carpet thing by the way since they have horns here
this drawing makes me insufferably angry /j but it shows just how unsure i was of a color pallete for them
I was trying to figure out how to make a better sillhouette here -- the character in the background is another scrapped character, they were a dancer!

as you can see i am a mentally stable person who has no insane obsession for their ocs and would never tape a piece of paper with their oc's name written on it 100 times and then tape a paper cutout of said oc to dangle from the ceiling as well who would do that certainly not me
